The Primorsky Kraisud for the third time failed to form a jury collegium for a new consideration of the Primorsky Partisan case. It is reported by Kommersant.

Like the previous two times, the selection refused to be disrupted due to the insufficient appearance of the candidates. On July 31, only 14 candidates for jury appeared at the meeting, on August 27 - 12 candidates. 21 candidates came to the meeting on Thursday. Meanwhile, the collegium is supposed to be formed from 20 assessors: 12 main and 8 spare ones. For this, at least 30 candidates must come for the selection.

Judge Marina Karakuyan appointed the next attempt to form a collegium on October 22.

On May 21, the Supreme Court, having examined the appeals of the convicts in the case, canceled the sentences to two of his defendants - Alexei Nikitin and Vadim Kovtun, who received a long time and 8 years 2 months of a strict regime. It was noted that the verdict of the jury about their guilt in the murder of four drug dealers "is contradictory and obscure."

The Supreme Court reduced the deadlines for three more convicts, excluding the same episodes from the prosecution. The appellate instance, sentenced to life imprisonment by Alexander Kovtun and Vladimir Ilyutikov, appointed 25 and 24 years of strict regime, respectively. The term of Maxim Kirillov was reduced from 22 to 19 years of strict regime. The episodes of the case excluded from the prosecution were also sent for a new consideration to the Primorsky Chief.

All five defendants are contained in the Vladivostok pre -trial detention center.

The sixth convicted person in the case, Roman Savchenko, the appellate instance reduced the term by one year - from 25 to 24 years of strict regime. However, he, unlike the rest of the defendants, was not charged with the murder of drug dealers. Thus, Savchenko’s sentence entered into legal force.

Last week, it became known that Savchenko was taken to LIU -1 in Barnaul - the FSINOSK hospital for alcoholics and drug addicts. It is known that Savchenko was actively involved in sports, never drank or smoked, and even kept good health in a pre -trial detention center.
