The novelties from Apple - iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus - in addition to numerous functional capabilities, can please their owners and advantage of water resistance, although such a technical parameter was not declared by the manufacturer.
Buyers from the USA, Australia, New Zealand, France, Germany, Great Britain, Hong Kong, Japan, China, Singapore and Puerto Rico, which from September 25 can already purchase new Apple products, began to actively test their gadgets.
Some of the enthusiasts have already bathed their iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, carefully tracking changes in the operation of the devices. The smartphones lay in the water for an hour, pulled them several times, checking the performance and activity of the screen. As a result, after an hour of stay in water (this time is enough to count the device officially waterproof), the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus retained their functionality: the screen with 3D Touch worked, like the Home button with Touch ID, the power key, the main and front chambers and dynamics. Even a 3.5-mm headphone jack and the Lightning port remained in working condition, the Tech Touch portal reports.
Judging by the video posted in YouTube by a popular blogger Zak Strely, the result of the experiment is impressive, given that Apple does not mention that the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are waterproof. Moreover, Strely published another report 48 hours after his experiment: the smartphones continued to work without any changes.
Interestingly, Apple plans waterproof only in the future of the iPhone 7. According to Chinese sources, it will not penetrate the water into the device that will allow overproof material. And the American corporation intends to release a waterproof flagship with all confirming certificates.
A more cruel experiment was conducted over the iPhone 6s - it was boiled several times, alternating this execution with a deep frost in the refrigerator.
For the first time after immersing in boiling water, the smartphone turned off after a couple of seconds. However, after he got it, it turned on without problems. With an increase in an acceptable temperature of 6s, he turned off again, but after cooling he continued to work. As a result, he was immersed in boiling water several times, turning over for the purity of the experiment. Their freezer was taken out in the ice, but after “warming” in boiling water 6s turned on and worked again.
