Apple has filed a patent for a "smart ring". It, like the watch from Apple, should work in conjunction with the phone. The "smart ring" may have a touchscreen or touchpad, as well as a microphone. It is assumed that the device will even be able to determine what its owner writes, following the movement of the hand.
The Verge recalls that there are already “smart rings” on the market that help control smartphones and other gadgets using Bluetooth.
Modern touchscreen devices, Apple writes in a patent application, can be bulky and inconvenient for some tasks. It is speculated that smartwatches can be useful for those with busy hands and those whose hands get tired from having to hold a large device. (English.)
