Businessman Evgeny Chichvarkin on his account on the social network Faceboook denied the news of a murder in a liquor store. “Finally, Chaika Events has succeeded in setting the stage for taking out all the saints,” he said, attaching photographs of installations simulating a crime scene.

Co-owner of the London bureau Chaika Events, Elena Moiseeva, confirmed that the installations in the store and next to it were made by order of Chichvarkin. “In Britain, everyone starts preparing for Halloween about a month in advance. Evgeniy and I have been working for a long time, decorating the store for various holidays,” she said. She also added that the store began to decorate for the holiday tonight.

On Friday morning, an eyewitness told RBC that Chichvarkin’s wine boutique was closed and sealed by the police as a crime scene. Chichvarkin, in a conversation with RBC , confirmed this information, saying that a murder had occurred there. RBC contacted the London police press bureau, but no response was provided during the day.

The former owner and founder of Euroset, Evgeny Chichvarkin, together with his partner Timur Artemyev, opened an elite wine store in 2012 in one of the most expensive areas of London - Mayfair.

The businessman is known for his shocking behavior and ideas for effective sales promotion. One of the first advertisements for the mobile retailer network “Euroset” had the slogan “Euroset” - the prices are just...!” and “Never mind - all people!” At the beginning of the 2000s, the company held an April Fool's campaign - it offered a phone as a gift to everyone who stripped naked to the company's anthem, and earlier Chichvarkin exhibited models in swimsuits in store windows.
