
Aeroflot - Russian Airlines, the Joint -Stock Company is going to unite their three subsidiaries - Russia, Orenburg Airlines and Donavia - under the general brand of the United Airline Russia. According to Interfax , the current general director of Transaero Dmitry Saprykin will be headed by the new airline.
In addition to him, Aeroflot announced its readiness to employ 5-6 thousand employees of Transaero, which previously announced the completion of its activities. At the same time, the total number of the airline, judging by their official report, reaches 11 thousand people.
“The rest of the team will be employed by the joint efforts of the Federal Air Transport Agency, Rostrud and other airlines,” Saprykin promised.
At the same time, the prices for shares of the Transaero airline reached a historical minimum. At the opening of trading, the ordinary share "Transaero" cost 23.5 rubles, and by the end of the day its cost dropped to 14.5 rubles. At the same time, Aeroflot shares on the exchange on Friday grew by 6.65%.
Earlier on October 2, Aeroflot stated that Transaero’s flights will be carried out until December 15, 2015. After that, the company's clients will be able to receive money for unrealized tickets in full.
In early September 2015, the owners of the Transaero airline, which is on the verge of bankruptcy, reported on its sale by transferring a control package of Aeroflot shares. The purchase of the airline was supposed to take place until September 28, but the shareholders of Transaero were not able to consolidate the necessary stake package on time. On Thursday, Aeroflot stated that he was refusing the offer.
