The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, asked the President of the Russian Federation permission to go to Syria to combat the Islamic State (prohibited by the decision of the Supreme Court). He stated this in an interview with RSN.
“As a Muslim, as a Chechen, as a patriot of Russia, I declare that in 1999, when the republic was covered by these shaitans, which exist today, we took an oath on the Qur'an: we will fight all our lives against them (terrorists. - Slon ), wherever they are. I’m not just saying, I ask you to be allowed to go there and participate in these special operations, ”Kadyrov said.
The head of Chechnya said that if his request is heard, “there will be a holiday for us,” noting that the corresponding decision is in the competence of the Supreme Commander -in -Chief, that is, Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Kadyrov also expressed confidence that as soon as ISIS militants understand that soldiers from Chechnya were going to fight with them, they would immediately leave Syria.
Russia began surgery in Syria on September 30. On October 2, the head of the Duma Committee on International Relations, Alexei Pushkov said that she could last from three to four months.
