Then the official, acting as a minister, contacted his Russian colleague Sergei Lavrov and also informed him of the Turkish reaction. In addition, Sinirlioglu outlined the situation to the heads of foreign policy departments of the United States, France, Italy, Great Britain and Germany, as well as NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.

Türkiye is part of the coalition headed by the United States, which fights the Islamic State. In addition, she does not support the regime of the Syrian dictator Bashar al -Assad.
