Microsoft has introduced new smartphones Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL, running on the Windows 10 operating system. Lumia 950 is equipped with a 5.2-inch screen and has liquid cooling (this is usually used in powerful desktop computers). The smartphone will start selling in November 2015, its price starts at $549. The Lumia 950 XL is larger.
Together with the new smartphones, Microsoft showed the Display Dock device, which will allow you to "turn" mobile devices into computers. Through the Display Dock, you can connect an external monitor, keyboard and mouse to your smartphone, and then work with universal applications under Windows 10 like on a computer. In this case, instead of the Start menu, the screen of the smartphone will be shown on the external monitor.
Also at the October 6 launch, Microsoft announced new versions of the Surface Pro smartwatches and Microsoft Band , as well as the 13-inch SurfaceBook, the company's first own laptop. The price for it starts at $1499.
Surface Pro tablets feature an optional keyboard that attaches when needed. And the keyboard of the Surfacebook laptop can be unhooked if necessary.
