Senators and titanium

Dear editors !

What thoughts, dear colleagues, come to your mind when you hear the word "Senate"? Probably, you imagine strict ancient Roman fatal fathers in the toxs gathered in Kuria, Cicero and the younger Cato, in passionate speeches scouring dictatorial dictates of Caesar. And other pathetic scenes in this spirit. However, frankly, there was everything in that Senate - and the horse, they say, were sitting there. Either our own Senate is the Senate-the Federation Council-and I think it is about him: neither the horse nor the barbarians there, only Valentina Ivanovna Matvienko, and completely proven, our comrades, who are against Caesar-no-no! And, of course, with wages, everything is much better for us than in ancient Rome: everyone receives a well -deserved fee for their work, especially senators.

And in terms of scientific and methodological support of the activity of the governing body, it is impossible to compare us and the ancients. In that Senate - ignorance and paganism, all sorts of priests, we have the performances of the largest scientists, the titans, so to speak, of our science. Recently, the director of the Kurchatov Institute, Mikhail Valentinovich Kovalchuk, performed his own person there. He painted the senators with senators an impressive picture of the scientific and social, if I may say, evolution of our civilization. He talked about how the scientific environment, pregnant with interdisciplinary nature, gives rise to science-bindings, how additive technologies will help us maintain the environment and about much, much more.

But this is how the scientist and the great man differ from simply large: Mikhail Valentinovich did not limit himself to the deployment of a picture of the evolution of scientific knowledge, he also pointed to the challenges and threats generated by this knowledge.

Threats, you say, what is special in that: everyone knows that our main threat is behind the ocean. It is difficult to argue with this, and in ancient times some Cato senior could show with his hand behind the sea and repeat as the wound: “Carthage should be destroyed, Carthage must be destroyed!”

No, Mikhail Valentinovich from the scientific and civilizational point of view has visited the entire depth of threats and challenges. The possibility of creating artificial living systems with specified properties can lead to the creation of an unprecedented biological weapon, including ethnogenetically oriented. Cognitive studies, the impact on the psychophysiological sphere of a person allow you to control individual and mass consciousness. And in such conditions, we are present when trying to form a system in which scientific and technical global goals are understandable only to the United States and they are formulated, and Russia, according to their plan, should become a supplier of intellectual resources, the executor of tactical tasks necessary for the US to achieve a strategic result.

And finally, having made an excursion into the depths of history and tracing how the social formations changed as a result of the growth of the self -awareness of the masses, Mikhail Valentinovich indicated that today there was a real technological and biological opportunity to create a fundamentally new subspecies of a person - a “official person”. Such people with very limited self-awareness and controlled reproduction will consume cheap food-genetically modified products-and will become a reliable weapon in the hands of the ruling elite. In his opinion, no one can interfere with this - this is how science is developing, in fact this is already happening, and we must understand what place in this civilization we can take.

I directly froze with horror, introducing the crowds of half-zombies wandering along the streets, who burn hamburger and drinking Coca-Cola, in the service of American imperialism. All hope that our senators, armed with a modern scientific worldview, will be able to formulate the response to this civilization challenge with the help of curses from the Kurchatov Institute, as well as the correct spiritual, moral and patriotic education. And, of course, I have the hope that “service people” with rainbow flags, hamburgers and Coca-Cola do not resist the “Young Guard of United Russia” with banners, barbecue and vodka.
