Joseph Blatter suspended from FIFA leadership for three months

FIFA President Joseph Blatter has been suspended for 90 days. This decision was made by the disciplinary committee after the Swiss authorities opened a criminal case against him. It is reported by Sky News, citing Blatter's former adviser Klaus Stelker.

According to the correspondent of the BBC, Blatter has not yet been removed, only recommended to be removed.

• On September 25, Swiss prosecutors announced that Joseph Blatter was suspected of negligence and misappropriation of property. According to the authorities, he entered into an unprofitable contract for the sale of television broadcasting rights, and also illegally transferred two million francs to the head of UEFA, Michel Platini. Blatter denies these allegations.
