The first snow went in Moscow

Small snowy charges passed over the center of the capital on Wednesday in the afternoon, seeing “Polit.ru” eyewitnesses.

Either small, then large snowflakes fall from the sky on Tverskaya Street from Pushkinskaya to Manezhnaya Square. Snowflakes do not linger on the roads and buildings and immediately melt.

According to the latest forecasts of weather forecasters, the first real snowfall may come to the capital on October 9.

Earlier, the Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Moscow warned that the first snow was expected in the capital on October 7. Apparently, in the middle of next week, the Russian capital is waiting for the "Tinsman Day", as is usually the case when the first snow falls out. Moreover, on the night of October 8 to 9, a cooling is possible up to 6 degrees Celsius below zero.

The cooling in the central part of Russia began on Tuesday, October 6. The reason for the bad weather is the confrontation of two atmospheric fronts: the Atlantic cyclone moves from Scandinavia to the Middle Urals with the subsequent wave of Arctic air, and an anticyclone is from the west.
