“The question of creating a small scientific unit - company - at the central archive of the military department is now being worked out,” the official said. “The company will be created in early 2016.”

Young specialists engaged in history, sociology and other relevant sciences will serve in the company. According to the interlocutor of the agency, they "will study primarily the history of World War II, the facts related to the falsification of the victory of the Soviet people during the Great Patriotic War, and other events from the life of the Armed Forces."

In the Russian army, scientific companies began to form since 2013 . Students and graduates of institutes who do not have a military department are undergoing military service. After the spring call of this year, 450 people serve as eight scientific companies. It is planned to create four more such units.
