The supply of electricity for high -voltage power lines coming from Melitopol, Zaporizhzhya region, in Dzhanka in the north of the annexed Crimea, was discontinued. According to Gdanov, the energy sections turned off and looped this line.

In total, the supplies of ethletroenergy to Crimea from continental Ukraine are carried out on four lines. The other three still continue to work, the activist noted.

On October 9, a repair team arrived in Chongar from the Zaporizhzhya region, but activists did not allow electricians to work. The corresponding decision was made by the headquarters of the civil blockade of Crimea. A round -the -clock duty was organized at the support, setting a tent with heating. Activists brought food and water. According to Gdanov, by the end of the week up to 100 people gathered at the facility.

On the morning of October 10, electricians once again tried to start repairs, but the blockade participants again prevented them.

“We are against Ukraine to supply electricity to the occupied territory and invaders,” said the blogger Elizaveta Bogutskaya, who fled from Simferopol a year ago after a search conducted by her house by Russian CPE operatives, and the subsequent interrogation of the “May 3” case. “We have requirements for Ukrainian and Russian authorities. The civilian blockade of Crimea, the initiator of which was the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, has been continuing since September 20. Activists stopped supplying the annexed peninsula with food from continental Ukraine. Meanwhile, 80 percent of all products came from the mainland to the Crimea.

On October 6, the National Leader of the Crimean Tatars, the Commissioner of the President of Ukraine for the Affairs of the Crimean Tatar people, Mustafa Dzhemilev, said that until the end of the month it is supposed to resolve the issue of energy blockade of Crimea . The peninsula receives 70 percent of electricity from continental Ukraine.
