At the XVII Russian agro -industrial exhibition "Golden Autumn - 2015", which opened on the eve of the Crocus Expo exhibition center in Moscow, for the first time a concept of rational use of land based on the revival of rural temples is presented.
According to Blagovet -Info , citing information from the Church Herald, the implementation of the concept is a long -term joint project of the Rybinsk diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church and the State University of Land Management (Moscow). Today, from more than 530 parish churches located in the diocese, 130 are operating. The rest are badly damaged or destroyed. The capabilities of the university, conducting training in the field of architecture and land management and having highly qualified specialists in the state, allow you to organize work on the architectural restoration of temples and the land management of their territories within the framework of the educational process.
The exhibition stand dedicated to the project includes a map of the diocese with the designation of temples, examples of architectural measurements and photographs of the state of buildings, geodetic measurements. All work was completed by students under the guidance of teachers. Objects of the first stage of work are located in the Rybinsk, Poshekhonskoye and Bolshesel deanery. The diploma design is carried out with the blessing of the bishop of Rybinsky and Uglich Benjamin. The exposition was developed and performed by diplomans of A. Ermakov, A. Glazkov and A. Altynbaev. From the Rybinsk diocese, the projects are supervised by the diocesan architect Alexander Golovkin.
