The suspect in the case of preparing a terrorist attack in Moscow, Elman Ashaev, fully admitted his guilt, Interfax reported on Tuesday, October 13, with reference to the statement of the judge when announcing the order to arrest the defendant.

The court agreed that Ashaev could escape and put pressure on witnesses and the investigation, and took him into custody for two months. Earlier, the court sent Aslan Baysultanov under arrest.

On October 11, the National Anti-Terrorism Committee (NAC) announced the detention of suspects suspected of preparing a terrorist attack on public transport in a residential building on Strelbischensky Lane in the center of Moscow. The committee clarified that an improvised explosive device was found in the suspects’ apartment.
