The war in the Donbass ends, and now the main efforts of Russia on the Ukrainian front will not consist in sending “vacationers” and shelling of cities and villages, but in endless tug of Minsk rope and attempts to internal destabilization of a neighboring country. The Syrian operation continues - but does not achieve its true goals. After all, in the Kremlin they wanted to not only save Assad’s regime, but also demonstrate Russia's return to big politics as the new Soviet Union. But now that the Prime Minister of this Soviet Union does not want to see in the United States and call Putin’s attempt to send a senior parliamentary to Washington with a gesture of despair - what else can Vladimir Vladimirovich demonstrate to the grateful of humanity? Rebellion in Moldova? Crisis around Karabakh? But these are clearly not the performances that the audience will break on.

The thing is that the post -Soviet space and Alawit villages are the only sections of land in which Putin can feel like Brezhnev and give up a meaningless challenge to the West. And not because Russia is strong, but because in the CIS countries, for the past twenty years, instead of state construction, they have been engaged in state plunder, and Syria died in the conflict of the incomparable Bashar Assad with its own citizens.

It was worth the Ukrainians to get rid of the criminal regime and engage in their country, it immediately turned out that Russia's influence in Ukraine is zero and, to prove his geopolitical significance, Vladimir Vladimirovich had to “squeeze” Crimea and send troops to Donbass. It was worth the Ukrainians to start creating a real army, as the true quality of the Russian army and criminals, on which the footcloths of the "Russian world" were wound. The same thing can happen in Syria. If the Syrians manage to begin a full -fledged political dialogue and get rid of Assad, they will forget about Putin the next day. And with the "Islamic state" they will deal with without Putin's falcons - just fewer civilians of Syria will die under the bombs.

All the wars in which Putin is involved in an absurd attempt to replace genuine changes in his own country by proof of its militaristic possibilities is the wars of powerlessness. And the question arises - where will he fight further? No new geographical point for the use of Vladimir Vladimirovich’s military talents in this world simply does not exist. Of course, you can start a real war - to "protect" the Russians in the Baltic, for example. But this is a direct collision with NATO. And Putin - he only wants to seem, and not be Brezhnev. And Brezhnev prudently avoided a direct collision with NATO.

That is why it can be stated that the Russian regime has exhausted not only its political and economic potential. In fact, a military man is also exhausted. Yes, money is still being spent on the army, pensioners and state employees are still upholstered, warlike speeches are still made, but there are no more places for a new war on this globe for Vladimir Vladimirovich.
