Kadyrov advocated the introduction of the death penalty for terrorists

The head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov proposed to introduce the death penalty for terrorists in Russia. He told about this in an interview with Russia 24.

“It is necessary to introduce the death penalty. The faster they leave this life, the faster we will have order, ”Kadyrov said.

In his opinion, to maintain terrorists in prisons "wrong."

“They also interfere with [in prisons] and recruit there. The Prophet said that where they will appear, there will be blood, they must be destroyed, so they must be destroyed, ”said the head of Chechnya.

The death penalty was used in Russia until the mid-1990s. Now the country has introduced a moratorium on this type of punishment, although in some articles of the Criminal Code the death penalty is formally mentioned. The Constitutional Court in 2009 confirmed the impossibility of saying the defendants to death.
