In July, the candidate for the US president from the Democrats Hillary Clinton accused Russia, China, Iran and the DPRK of the "direct and indirect" sponsoring hacker attacks on American government institutions and commercial structures. In her opinion, this pose a serious threat to US security and American business.

“This is not only China. We know that the governments of other countries - Russia, the DPRK, Iran - directly or indirectly financed hacker attacks,” Clinton said. In her opinion, the United States did not have enough to protect state and commercial information. “We are worried about the fact that terrorist organizations can be able to conduct large cyber attacks,” Clinton emphasized.
