Rosselkhoznadzor allowed the supply of Swiss cheeses to Russia

Rosselkhoznadzor allowed eight Swiss enterprises to supply cheeses and finished meat products to the Russian Federation. The department came to this conclusion after an inspection.

“According to the results of a joint inspection carried out from February 8 to February 19, 2015 by Rosselkhoznadzor and the Swiss Federal Office for Veterinary Medicine and Food Safety, 8 out of 13 inspected Swiss enterprises received the right to supply products of animal origin (cheeses and finished meat products) to the Russian Federation,” the Russian agency said in a statement.

It is noted that the services continue to work together, in particular, negotiations between service specialists are planned for November 2015 to consider the possibility of supplying products from the remaining 5 enterprises.
