
The Central District Court of Novosibirsk received a criminal case against the former head of the local election headquarters of the Democial of Leonid Volkov, TASS reports with reference to the press service of the court. He is accused under Article 144 of the Criminal Code (obstruction of the legal professional activity of journalists).
"The decision on the adoption of the criminal case to the court proceedings will be made in the deadlines established in Article 227 of the Code of Criminal Procedure," the press service noted. On Monday, the prosecutor's office of the Novosibirsk region approved the indictment in the Volkov case.
The case against Volkov was opened on August 12 . On August 24, the policy was an official charge .

Volkov himself rejected the accusation of the Prevys. The examination conducted by decision of the investigation confirmed the correctness of the politician. He placed on his blog of facsimile a conclusion, which was issued on August 25 by an expert at the Novosibirsk company Social Legal Center Sergey Pinchuk. As stated in the document, the microphone has minor damage. Some of them, the expert noted, "could form under the circumstances indicated by the victims." At the same time, Pinchuk noted, the detected damage does not affect the functioning of the microphone, and in addition, they can be eliminated.
On October 6, lawyer Vladimir Bandura filed a petition for the termination of a criminal case against his client. According to the lawyer, the petition was based on the fact that Prezensky had contradictions in the testimony: before the imprisonment of the examination, Preentynsky spoke only about the breakdown of the microphone, and after the examination admitted that the microphone was not broken, the journalist said that Volkov beat him. TFR rejected the petition.
