Clinton: US diplomats must take risks by fulfilling their duty

Former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said that American diplomats should take risks, fulfilling their professional duty.

Speaking on Thursday at a hearing in the House of Congress of an attack on the American diplomatic representative office in Bengham (Libya) in 2012, Clinton, who then headed the American foreign policy, paid tribute to the memory of four mission employees who died in Benghazi. Among them was the ambassador Chris Stevens.

Clinton emphasized that America "should maintain leadership in this dangerous world, and its diplomats must continue to represent their country - even in dangerous areas of the world."
