
Today, October 23, the short list of the poetic prize Arkady Dragomoshchenko for young authors writing in Russian is announced.
According to the results of the general vote, the jury and nomineeers entered it:
They were selected from the 15 authors formed at the beginning of September Long List .
“In the new, second season of the award, unlike the first, the total estimates of the jury and nominators almost coincided. Discrepancies for individual authors, sometimes significant, took place, but they did not affect the final result. And although the short list was formed as a result of summarizing various opinions, opinions of people with different ideas about poetry and its current state, “accidentally”, more precisely, he himself turned out to be a kind of “poetic statement”, as unresolved as an urgent “issue” about the boundaries of prose and poetry, about the boundaries of poetic in general, occupying one of the important places in the poetic world Arkady Dragomoshchenko, constantly these (imaginary) boundaries of experiencing, ”the jury says in the premium website .
Jury of the award: Alexander Skidan (Petersburg, Chairman), Anatoly Barsakh (Petersburg), Anna Glazova (Hamburg), Sergey Zavyalov (Winterur), Elena Kostyleva (Petersburg) and the first laureate of the award Nikita Safonov (Petersburg).
The award ceremony and the events accompanying it will be held in St. Petersburg on November 20–22 .
The Award Arkady Dragomoshchenko was established in 2014 by an independent bookstore of intellectual literature “The Word Order” and annually is awarded to poets whose age at the time of nomination does not exceed 27 years.
The size of the main award is 70 thousand rubles. Also, the holder of the main award receives the opportunity to publish a book in the poetic series "New Poems" of the publishing house "Order of Words". The finalists receive two incentive bonuses of 20 thousand rubles.
