Transaero will change the general director

The Board of Directors "Transaero" approved the candidacy of the new head of the air carrier. According to Kommersant, referring to his own sources, the only candidate was the deputy head of the airline flight department Valery Zaitsev. The board of directors approved his appointment.

Until the beginning of September, the general director was held by the co -owner of the company Olga Pleshakova, then it was replaced by a native of Aeroflot Dmitry Saprykin.

In early September, it was reported that Transaero will enter the Aeroflot group. It was assumed that 75 percent + 1 Promotion of the carrier will be sold to Aeroflot for 1 ruble. In October, Aeroflot refused the offer. The relevant departments suggested that the only option for resolving the situation will be the bankruptcy of Transaero.

Valery Zaitsev - the current pilot, his father Gennady Zaitsev - the ex -head of the Federal Aviation Service, until 1999 - the First Deputy Minister of Transport. According to the publication, Valery Zaitsev consists in family ties and with the head of the FSUE "State Corporation for the Organization of the Air Movement" Igor Moiseenko.
