In the Chekhovsky district of the Moscow region, the owner of the dacha plot of the horticultural non-profit partnership (SNT) “Beryozka” shot and killed a policeman who drove his car into the fence of the plot, reports the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the region.
Today, at about 02:30, a local resident reported the incident to the duty station of the Department of Internal Affairs in the Chekhov district.
According to the police, at approximately 02:20, a police officer of the eighth battalion of the Yuzhny traffic police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Moscow Region, a police captain in civilian clothes, rammed the fence of a summer resident's property while off duty in his personal car. After this, a conflict ensued between the owner of the site and the policeman, as a result of which the summer resident shot the policeman with a hunting rifle.
Doctors who arrived at the scene of the incident confirmed the death of the policeman, who was wounded in the chest area.
According to the Moscow region department of the Investigative Committee, a criminal case has been opened into the murder of a 34-year-old policeman (Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code). The Investigative Committee notes that “a hostile relationship developed between the summer resident and the policeman for more than six months.”
“On the night of October 23-24, the victim once again decided to sort things out and came to the suspect’s private home, located in the Berezka SNT in the city of Chekhov. During a verbal conflict, the suspect took a gun out of the house and fired several shots, including in the air. As a result, the policeman received one gunshot wound to the chest,” the Investigative Committee describes what happened. Three shell casings were recovered from the scene.
