Flights for direct flights Vladivostok - Moscow became inaccessible to the residents of Primorye against the background of stopping the flights of the Transaero airline. This was stated by the Governor of the Primorsky Territory Vladimir Miklushevsky, according to the official website of the regional administration.
Almost the entire passenger traffic on the Vladivostok -Moscow line is now carried out by one airline, Aeroflot. The airlines report that until mid-November passengers will be able to purchase tickets only in a business class due to the lack of places in the economy class. As an alternative, butt flights are offered.
"Today, only two flights are being performed to Vladivostok from Moscow. With the existing passenger traffic, this is clearly not enough. At the same time, the cost of tickets from the only carrier in this direction when buying tickets a few days before departure increased from three to five times. The air travel along the route Vladivostok - Moscow at an acceptable cost takes 20-25 hours taking into account the jokes. The situation is extremely unpleasant" - noted the governor.
Miklushevsky turned to the deputy authorized representative of the president to the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev with a proposal to increase the number of direct flights from Moscow to Vladivostok, carried out by various companies. “I am sure this measure will increase competition and, accordingly, reduce the prices for flights,” the governor said.
From Monday, the Transaero airline officially stopped operating activities. Her work was stopped in connection with the decision of the Ministry of Transport of the Ministry of Transport on the cancellation of the operator certificate.
In early September, it was reported that Transaero will enter the Aeroflot group. It was assumed that 75 percent + 1 Promotion of the carrier will be sold to Aeroflot for 1 ruble. However, then Aeroflot abandoned the offer. The relevant departments suggested that the only option for resolving the situation will be the bankruptcy of Transaero .
On October 20, the general director of the S7 group, Vladislav Filev, announced the purchase of at least 51 percent of Transaero shares. The next morning, the Federal Air Transport Agency announced the cancellation of the passero of Transaero operator since October 26. On October 21, the Federal Air Transport Agency said that the tolerances to the 56 international areas of Transaero were temporarily transferred to Aeroflot.
