In Russia, a state program of patriotic education will appear, it will be coordinated by Rosmolodezh. This was told by the head of the Kremlin administration Sergey Ivanov. "Now, in agreement in the government, the program" Patriotic education of Russian citizens for 2016-2020 ", its implementation will be coordinated by the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs," Interfax quotes the quote from the speech of Ivanov at the first All -Russian seminar of the leaders of patriotic associations.
The head of the presidential administration assured that "in the implementation of his undertakings, patriotic associations can count on all help." He advised patriots-activists to apply for grants through the National Charitable Fund, the Knowledge Society, the Russian Union of Youth and other structures. According to Ivanov, grants are now "widely and democratically distributed."
Ivanov also advised representatives of patriotic organizations to establish cooperation with the Russian geographical society, associations related to environmental, ecology and local history, and the search engine of Russia.
"More than 40 thousand people and professions are involved in the perpetuating memory of the fallen during the defense of the Fatherland," Ivanov emphasized. Among the most striking examples of their work, he called the institution in Russia the Day of the Unknown Soldier, the activities of the volunteer corps formed for the 70th anniversary of the Victory and numbering about 140 thousand people. “The brightest example, of course, is the“ Immortal Regiment ”campaign, uniting millions of our compatriots around the world on Victory Day,” he recalled.
“Modern youth, our whole society has a request for unifying national projects that rally people around honest, high goals, help to feel that we have one history, one country,” the Kremlin representative is sure.
Much, Sergei Ivanov emphasized, depends on the personality of the mentors of the patriotic centers. "The system of their selection should have clear criteria, this is education, and organizational talent, and sociability, and indifference to their work," he said.
The head of the presidential administration also urged not to forget about the forms of patriotic work, such as the cross patronage of military units and educational institutions, labor collectives, and cities. “This practice is resumed everywhere, its meaning is not so much in improving motivation and preparing for military service, but in the formation of respect for the army, navy, their heroic history,” he said.
According to Ivanov, "in modern conditions, the increase in the growth of civil activity, the involvement of people in the affairs of the country, their city, the village, and the development of the creative interest in the past and future of their country, the desire of people for a healthy and active lifestyle, depend on the effectiveness of educational programs.
In his opinion, “modern youth, our whole society has a request for unifying national projects that rally people around honest, high goals, help to feel that we have one history, one country,” TASS reports.
The head of the Kremlin administration also announced a greeting to the participants of the Presidential forum of the Russian Federation. According to Vladimir Putin, "organizational, educational, truly mobile work today is extremely important for both the state and society, plays a huge role in the education of the younger generation in the traditions of citizenship and service to the Fatherland."
In total, the event, for the first time uniting the heads of patriotic organizations, was attended by 650 activists from 77 regions. For today, 22 thousand patriotic associations of various orientations operate in Russia today. Of these, more than 5.5 thousand military-patriotic clubs, associations and centers, media reports.
It should be noted that the website of the state programs of patriotic education for 2011-2015 states that the current program "is a logical and integral continuation of state programs for 2001-2005 and 2006-2010, it maintains the continuity of the process to further form the patriotic consciousness of Russian citizens and is one of the main factors of the unity of the nation."
The program includes a set of normative, methodological, research and organizational all-Russian and interregional measures for further development and improvement of the system of patriotic education. In total, 596.75 million rubles are provided for the implementation of the current state program. What financing will the new state program require, Sergei Ivanov did not specify.
