In the elections to the Odessa City Council, Dmitry Palpatine, who works as an emperor at Palpatine Finance Group LLC, received 54.4% of the votes. This is enough to get into the local legislature

The Odessa publication Dumskaya.net reported that 25-year-old Dmitry Palpatine won 54.4% of the votes in the 57th electoral district in the village of Kotovsky. Palpatine, who works as an emperor at Palpatine Finance Group LLC, participated in the elections to the City Council from the Trust in Deeds party. The first on the list of this party is the current mayor of Odessa Gennady Trukhanov. As Dumskaya.net reports, the mayor’s party is appointing 30 or 31 deputies to the city council (there are 64 deputies in total in the council).

This is not the first election campaign in which Palpatine has taken part. In October 2014, he participated in early parliamentary elections, entering the top five on the list of the Internet Party of Ukraine (along with Darth Vader, Stepan Chewbacca, Padme Amidala and Yoda Magister Vladimirovich).

During the elections in Odessa on October 25, local police detained Palpatine's Internet Party comrade, Chewbacca. The basis for the detention was Chewbacca's lack of documents, as well as the illegally parked car in which he was located. As a result, Chewbacca was fined 170 hryvnia (about 500 rubles) for disobedience to law enforcement officers. Darth Vader was going to vote in the elections in Odessa, but his name was not found on the electoral lists.
