The militants of the "Islamic state" blew up three ancient columns in Syrian Palmyra. According to the Daily Sabah, according to the Syrian Center for Monitoring the Compliance of Human Rights, the terrorists tied three people captured in the vicinity of Palmyra before the explosion.

The militants of the "Islamic state" hold the late -ant city of Palmyra in the province of Homs, Central Syria, since May. Then it became known that they blew up the ancient temple of Baal Shamin - the Phoenician god of storms and fertile rains. Next was destroyed by the temple of Bela, who was one of the most preserved monuments of the city.

Subsequently, the bastard tower built from sandstone was also destroyed, in which members of the richest families of Palmyra were buried. These monuments were also among the best preserved.
