
The fifth Moscow rally against the expansion of the paid parking area was held on Tuesday evening in Chertanov and gathered a record number of participants, the Grana correspondent reports. According to various estimates, from one to two thousand people came to the action. They demanded the resignation of the head of the capital's department of transport Maxim Liksutov, the cancellation of the decision to expand the area of paid parking and the cessation of compulsory evacuation of cars.
Since the beginning of October, opponents of paid parking held rallies in Ostankin, in the airport area, in Otradnoye and Sokolniki. The shares are held under the slogan "No - an autogenocide, paid parking, lawlessness of tow trucks! Yes - the order on the roads, the development of transport infrastructure."
The rally in Chertanov was organized by the Muskontrol movement. In addition to activists from different regions of Moscow, the leader of the Blue Vederes, Peter Shkumatov, State Duma deputy from Fair Russia Alexander Ageev, municipal deputy Yevgeny Budnik.
