“Brigade” was banned in Ukraine
The Ukrainian State Film Agency has banned the screening of the Russian TV series Brigada and seven other films and series in the country. These included "The Village", "Dragon Syndrome", "Streets of Broken Lanterns 5" and "Piranha Hunting".
Filipp Ilyenko, Chairman of Goskino, noted: “This work, which has been going on for the second year, is aimed not only at reducing the influence of Russian propaganda and ideology on the minds of our citizens, but also at stimulating and creating prerequisites, including economic ones, for the production of our own films. and television content of adequate quality and content.”
