In Moscow, the security forces searched the library of Ukrainian literature. This was reported by REN TV with reference to an unnamed source, "familiar with the situation." Documents, electronic media of information, as well as some literature were seized.
According to preliminary data from the channel, the reason for the search was the information that the library stores the copies of the newspaper "Rukho hour" - the body of the people's rush of Ukraine. REN TV approves with reference to "data from specialists" that historical facts are distorted in this newspaper. "In particular, the general orientation of the materials of the publication can be Russophobic in nature," the report said.
Meanwhile, UNIAN reported with reference to the library director Natalia Sharin that the search was carried out as part of the case on the fact of the spread of some extremist literature opened in December 2010. In 2011, the investigation in the case was suspended. Now, visitors from the TFR said they intend to get "additional materials."
Riot police blocked the entrance to the institution; At the same time, one of the investigators, who refused to introduce himself, said that there was no search in the library, but it is nevertheless closed, because "we are here."
Earlier, library staff reported that police officers are throwing up a certain literature, which is absent in funds. It was noted that the security forces acted in the same way as during a search in 2010, when the CPE seized more than 50 publications for checking.
Visiters did not find forbidden literature. Books about Stepan Bandera, OUN and UPA were withdrawn, although none of these books are listed in the list of extremist materials. Investigators also seized the Barvinok children's journal, saying that it depicts the flag of the Right Sector.

The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine expressed a decisive protest in connection with a search in the library of Ukrainian literature. The agency reminded of the searches of December 2010 - January 2011, noting that the current visit of the security forces to the library was "not the first attempt by the Kremlin to stick the labels of" Russophobia "and" extremism "to everything Ukrainian."
"These rude and unmotivated actions of the Russian authorities once again confirm the aggressive policy of the Russian Federation in relation to Ukraine," the Foreign Ministry emphasizes.
In mid -October, the FSB banned the entrance to the country for a period of five years to one of the leaders of the Ukrainian diaspora - the responsible secretary of the Ukrainian Congress of Russia and the co -chair of the Ukrainians of Moscow, Viktor Girzhov. In the Russian capital, Girzhov had a wife and children.
The public activist connected the ban on entry with his speeches on Russian television channels in support of Ukraine.
At the beginning of the month, the FSB searched the boarding school of folk art for gifted children in Krasnodar, having seized several dozen books in Ukrainian and Polish. It was claimed that the seized books "heroize the leaders of the Ukrainian nationalist movement", and some "have stamps of the libraries of one of the organizations prohibited in the Russian Federation."
It was also reported that the seized books were read by the chairman of the Society of Ukrainians of the Kuban Nikolay Sergienko, who worked at the school as a teacher of the Ukrainian language and the history of the Cossacks. At the beginning of this year, Sergienko went on an unpaid vacation and went to Ukraine.
