Directors of the Ukrainian library are kept in torture conditions

The director of the library of Ukrainian literature Natalia Sharina kept almost two days in the department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Tagansky district of Moscow in torture conditions. This was announced by her defender Yevgeny Smirnov. The ball is accused by the "anti-extremist" article on the 282nd article for Ukrainian books seized in the denunciation library.

Among the guests of the library were the nationalists Dmitro Povychko and Roman Lyashko, Sokurov noted. According to him, the public domain was "about 200 books of Russophobic content." The director of the library, according to him, did not react to Sokurov’s official notes.

Sharina refused to answer the investigator's questions. Smirnov noted in the protocol that Sokurov, who declared the absence of hostility towards the ball, considers it to be an "enemy of Russia, incompetent and greedy."

On Wednesday, Sharin was detained after a search in the library. The search was held in her apartment. In addition to office equipment and electronic media, books were seized from her, including the Holodomor, several copies of newspapers in 2011, as well as letters from the presidents of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko and Viktor Yanukovych and Prime Minister Nikolai Azarov.

Sharina is suspected of arousing hatred or enmity using an official position, said the head of the press service of the Investigative Committee Vladimir Markin. According to paragraph "b" part 2 of Article 282 of the Criminal Code, the detainee threatens up to five years in the colony.

According to Markin, in 2011-2015, Sharina distributed among readers the book of the leader of the Ukrainian movement "Brotherhood", formerly one of the leaders of UNA-UNSO Dmitry Korchinsky, prohibited in Russia as extremist. "I, as a deputy who devotes a topic for Ukraine, Khokhlov, the DPR and the LPR, I received a signal about the presence of Bandera literature in the library," he wrote. On Thursday, the head of the package department, Tatyana Muntean, said that during a search of the library they threw up the previously seized books, UNIAN reports .
