DataLine Data Center is launching the Cloud in Good Hands project, which offers free online data storage to charities.
Charitable foundations will be provided with all the infrastructure for hosting websites, multimedia and databases. At the same time, DataLine center specialists will help social NGOs with the choice of specific resources, teach them how to use them and provide round-the-clock technical support free of charge.
“We have great respect for people who devote themselves to charitable projects, and we will be happy to help the work of charitable foundations with what we know best,” said DataLine CEO Yuri Samoilov. “I’m sure we can be useful to charitable foundations not only in the context of reducing IT costs, but also from the point of view of increasing the reliability of the IT infrastructure.”
You can apply for cloud storage on the data center website. The verification of project participants is carried out by the “Need Help” foundation. After verification of the fund, representatives of the charitable organization will be invited to a meeting in DataLine for personal acquaintance and discussion of details.
“For more than six months we have been using IT resources and DataLine support services to operate our portal “Takie Dela”,” comments Mitya Aleshkovsky, Chairman of the Board of the “Need Help” charitable foundation. “We are glad that now other NPOs will be able to become participants in the “Cloud in Good Hands” project.” Having a reliable and modern infrastructure is a very important element of the work of any organization, and a charity in particular. Especially today, when the most massive and interesting charity events are carried out through the Internet.”
Among the first charitable organizations to receive free cloud storage are the Vera Hospice Foundation and the Tradition Foundation. As Vasily Chernyshev, system administrator of the Vera Foundation, noted, the DataLine cloud service works perfectly, technical support is timely and of high quality.
