Declared short list of the Nose Prize

Today, October 30, at the IX Krasnoyarsk Fair of Book Culture, a short list of the Literary Prize “Nose” (“New Literature”) was announced according to the results of 2015.

Of the 19 works included in the long list of this season, the jury of the prize chose seven:

• Guzel Yakhin - "Zuleikha opens his eyes"
• Danila Zaitsev - "The story and life of Danila Terentyevich Zaitsev"
• Alexander Ilyanen - "Pension"
• A. Nune - "Diary for Friends"
• Polina Barskova - "Living Pictures"
• Tatyana Bogatyreva - "Mariana Breeding"
• Maria Golovanivskaya - "Pangea"

Tok-shows with the choice and awarding of the winner, as well as the award of the prize of the audience sympathy will take place at the end of January 2016.

The jury of the 2015 Awards includes theater director Konstantin Bogomolov (chairman), journalist and writer Nikolai Uskov, director of the Nizhny Novgorod branch of the GTSIS Anna Mountains, historian Dmitry Sporov and journalist Timothy Dzyadko.

The Nose Award (New Literature) was founded in 2009 by the Mikhail Prokhorov Foundation to identify and support new trends in modern artistic literature in Russian. The main feature of the bonus is the openness of the decision -making process. An indispensable condition of the jury is the need to publicly argue the choice of finalists and the winner in the framework of the current show in the presence and with the active participation of journalists, writers and the cultural public.

Last year, the Nose Prize was awarded to Alexei Tsvetkov Jr. for the collection of prose “King of the drowned”.
