The heads of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia, the Ministry of Transport and the Federal Air Transport Agency flew to Egypt to the crash site A321, which claimed the lives of 224 people.

As Interfax was informed in the press service of the Ministry of Emergencies, the first of the three EMERCOM aircraft, the head of the Ministry of Emergencies, Vladimir Puchkov, the Minister of Transport, Maxim Sokolov and the head of the Federal Air Transport Agency Alexander Neudko, flew out of the Ramenskoye airfield. Representatives of the Ministry of Transport, the IC of the Russian Federation, the MAC and other departments flew to Egypt with the same side.

After a conversation between the presidents of the Russian Federation and Egypt, the Egyptian media reported that Russian experts would begin work in the investigation of the causes of the disaster, which became the largest victims in the history of modern Russian aviation.

In the near future, two more aircraft of the Ministry of Emergencies with rescuers on board are planned from Ramensky from Ramensky, the press service said.

Earlier, the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev, on behalf of President Vladimir Putin, instructed to create a commission in connection with the collapse of the aircraft in Egypt, and its head to the Minister of Transport Maxim Sokolov - to urgently fly to Cairo to investigate all the circumstances of the crash. The flight of Kogalymavia KGL9268 flew from Sharm Esh-Sheikh to St. Petersburg. The plane crashed shortly after the departure in the north of the Egyptian Peninsula of Sinai, in a mountainous area. There were 224 people aboard the airliner: 200 adult passengers, 17 children and seven crew members. The vast majority of the dead are Russians. Also, according to the media, there were three citizens of Ukraine on board and one - Belarus.
