The municipal deputy of the metropolitan district of Yakimanka Dmitry Zakharov, who previously wrote a denunciation for the library of Ukrainian literature, on Sunday, together with a group of supporters, appeared at the National Cultural Center of Ukraine in Moscow. This was reported by UNIAN.

Zakharov explained his visit to the guard with the desire to find out if anti -Russian propaganda is being conducted in the center. On a personal page on VKontakte, the scammer expressed himself more definitely: "We went to the Ukrainian cultural center as part of the continuation of the fight against Bender (so. - Ed.) Underground."

The center employee noticed that the actions of Zakharov and his supporters are a provocation. He explained that if the library of Ukrainian literature is funded from the Moscow budget, then the building of the cultural center is the property of the Ukrainian state. In addition, the interlocutor of the agency added, on November 1, no events are planned in the institution except the work of the Sunday school, and most employees of the center are missing at work.

As a result, Zakharov was denied a visit to the Cultural Center of Ukraine. The deputy was offered, instead of engaged in provocations, to send an official request and come to the center legally.

The search for the denunciation of Zakharov on the library of Ukrainian literature was held on October 28 . "I am as a deputy who devotes a topic for Ukraine, Khokhlov, the DPR and the LPR, I received a signal about the presence of Bandera literature in the library," the scammer explained his appeal to the security forces. He personally was present during the search and placed on his page a photo of the seized books and magazines.

The only prohibited publication, which, according to the Investigative Committee, was seized during the search, was the book of Dmitry Korchinsky “Vіin in Natovpі” (“War in the crowd”, 1999), which was recognized as extremist in March 2013. At the same time, the library employees argued that there were no this book in the funds - it was precisely by law enforcement officers to be thrown into the library.

Visiters did not find any other forbidden literature. Books about Stepan Bandera, OUN and UPA were withdrawn, although none of these books are listed in the list of extremist materials. The investigators also seized the Barvinov children's journal, saying that it depicts the flag of the Right Sector.

According to the results of the search, the director of the library Natalya Sharina was detained. She was charged with paragraph "B" of part 2 of Article 282 of the Criminal Code (excitement of hatred or enmity committed using its official position) - a composition for which the code provides for up to five years of the colony. For almost two days, the ball was kept in torture conditions ; She was called an ambulance four times. Finally late in the evening of October 30, the Tagansky district court of Moscowplaced the director of the library under house arrest .
