The English composer John Tavener (1944–2013) wrote the chamber opera "Mole" ( a Gentle Spirit ) in 1977. The world premiere took place in the same year at the Royal Bat Theater.

The director of the performance is Maria de Vakoff, the music director and conductor, the director is Ivan Velikanov.
