In turn, the Deputy General Director of Kogalymavia for the engineering support, whose name the TV channel does not specify, explained the absence of the crew to contact the Earth by the fact that the team, most likely, "at the time of the development of a catastrophic situation ... completely lost performance."

Meanwhile, according to Interfax, the press secretary of Vladimir Putin Dmitry Peskov said that it is not yet to exclude a single version of the crash of the aircraft, including the attack. The investigation is just starting to work, the official explained, and "now articulate some preliminary guesses, some opinions, some statements that are not based on anything-this is completely wrong."

In turn, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev announced the need to attract international experts to investigate the crash.

On Monday night, Interfax wrote with reference to a certain informed source in Cairo that the A321 fell on his back. At the same time, the interlocutor of the agency urged not to build any premature versions of the disaster.

Early on the morning of November 2, the first aircraft with the remains of A321 crash victims landed at the Petersburg airport of Pulkovo. It was reported that there were 144 bodies on it. The arrival of the second side with the corpses of the dead is expected on Monday evening.

The governor of St. Petersburg Georgy Poltavchenko ordered the families of 1 million rubles to the families of the dead. The day before, the head of the Ministry of Labor Maxim Topilin instructed to pay the same amount to the families of crew members, as well as passengers returning from a business trip.

The aircraft flying from Sharm Esh-Sheikh to Petersburg crashed in the morning on October 31 near the airport of the city of El-Arysh in Sinai. There were 217 passengers on board, of which 24 children, and seven crew members. All killed to one. This is the largest disaster in the history of Russian and Soviet civil aviation.

Among the dead were four citizens of Ukraine and one - Belarus. The rest of the passengers and crew members were Russians.

Sunday in Russia was declared day of mourning for the victims of the disaster. The authorities of St. Petersburg extended mourning on November 2-3.

On Saturday afternoon it was reported that the Egyptian unit of the Islamic State announced involvement in the crash of the liner. However, the Minister of Transport of Russia Maxim Sokolov denied this information. He stated that the Egyptian authorities "have no information that would confirm such fabrications."
