Omsk Governor formed a new government

The head of the Omsk region, Viktor Nazarov, formed the government of the region. In the new structure, he will have five deputies, each of which will oversee his block. The Governor’s team was replenished with a official from Khakassia Andrei Novosyolov and the former vice-mayor of Omsk Tatyana Vizhevitova.

Andrei Novoselov, as Taiga.info already reported, became the first deputy chairman of the government. He will be responsible for issues of economic development. Vladimir Kommanyshchikov, Stanislav Grebenshchikov, Igor Bondarev, Tatyana Vizhevitova were appointed deputy chairman. The issues of domestic policy and territorial development will be overseeing Vladimir Companies. Stanislav Grebenshchikov is responsible for infrastructure issues. Igor Bondarev entrusted industrial policy and public safety, Tatyana Vizhevitova is entrusted with a social block. The head of the region, Viktor Nazarov, took under personal control. The apparatus of the governor of the region will be headed by Yuri Karechin.

Some officials will remain in the government in old positions. Viktor Belov will continue to work as the Minister of Industry, Transport and Innovative Technologies, Alexander Vinokurov - the Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology. Sergei Kanunnikov will be headed by the Ministry of Education of the Omsk Region. Viktor Lapukhin will be managed by the Ministry of Culture of the Omsk Region, Andrei Storozhenko - the Ministry of Health of the Omsk Region. Oksana Fadina was approved as the Minister of Economics of the Omsk Region, Vadim Chechenko - as the Minister of Finance of the Omsk Region.

Victor Nazarov won the governor’s election on September 13 in the first round. He bypassed the main competitor - the State Duma deputy from the Communist Party of the Communist Party of Oleg Denisenko - almost 22%.
