The accused of the theft of the aircraft Ilya Kudryashov, a researcher at the Research Institute of Nuclear Physics of Moscow State University, changed his lawyer two weeks ago. It was provided by the interregional public organization of pilots and owners of aircraft. The salary of Ilya has long been blocked by Sberbank with the wording “Suspicion of financing international terrorism”. Meanwhile, Ilya’s friends made the website www.savepilots.ru to accumulate information and financial assistance: payment for the services of a lawyer, to whom Ilya initially turned to, absorbed almost all resources.
We remind you: Ilya Kudryashov was brought in a shocking charge on June 24, 2015. According to the director of the airfield in the city of Ishim, the Tyumen region, Ilya stole the property of DOSAAF [1]. Later, certificates in favor of the scientist appeared in the case [2, 3]. However, at the moment, the case risks the court. And what the court in Russia can lead to statistics 0.4% of the acquittal of criminal sentences [4] is an almost rhetorical issue. Justice can only be achieved with the serious support of the professional community of scientists and teachers. For this, it is necessary not only to understand what happened, but also to generally understand the background of events.
Ilya Kudryashov participates in the Nuklon project, read a course on the introduction of elementary particles at the Physics Physics facility of Moscow State University, and leads students' diploma works. In addition to intensive research work, Ilya has a hobby-flights on small aircraft, which he became interested in thanks to the air club in his native Korolev. In 2002, Ilya had his own small Horizon Gy-80 aircraft, and last year he decided to improve the skills of acrobatic flights, so it took a senior plane. On the Internet forum of aviation lovers, Ilya found an announcement of sale for 1 million rubles. The Yak-52 aircraft, which the seller personally collected from the written-off spare parts and restored to a flight state.
The community of people who are fond of small aircraft is small: Ilya quickly made a certificate of reliability of the seller. In addition, he flew to Ishim to make sure that the plane really belongs to the seller, not the airfield. After that, Ilya transferred the seller part of the money for technical improvement of the aircraft on the expense of the purchase cost. On June 17, Ilya and his friend, the pilot Ramaz Shermadini, flew to Ishim to transfer the last part of the money, sign the contract of sale and pick up the plane. Which happened. Young people flew out in the morning on two aircraft (Ilya piloted the Horizon Gy-80, and Ramaz, being a professional pilot, is Yak-52).
A few hours later, Yak refused the engine, an emergency landing in Yalutorovsk was completed, and the aircraft did not work out the chassis. The plane was highly likely to destroy the pilot: it became clear that the promised technical work was not completed. It also turned out that at night Ilya stole a contract of sale. Friends from Moscow called, Ilya and Ramaza told that they were in the first lines of the Yandex news in connection with the aircraft of the aircraft. Having arrived in Moscow, the young people themselves went to the FSB - to explain what happened.
It is not difficult to see the absurdity of the prosecution of the hijacking: there is a correspondence with the seller, data on the transfer of money, certificates of airfield employees that the aircraft left him with the knowledge and consent of the director. Finally, the seller himself does not deny that he was selling the plane. Moreover, the plane that flew out of Ishim was indeed assembled from the written -off parts (as, according to the data available at our disposal, it was established during the investigation), that is, not the one that the director of the airfield said about the theft of the airfield [5]. It turns out completely anecdotal: firstly, the plane is not stolen, but bought, and secondly, this is not the same plane.
Ilya and Ramaz spent several days in the temporary detention isolate, were released on bail in late June and have been under investigation since then. According to Ilya, investigators frankly say that he must be accused. I would not like the owners of large ranks to explain that their excessive desire to record “capture of the terrorist-enlarger” from the “capture of the terrorist” prevented the pre-investigation proceedings in good faith. If it does not work to blame the aircraft of the aircraft, then they will try to blame something else, at least of arbitrariness. “Well, or,” says the investigator, leafing through the Criminal Code, “maybe this article is still suitable, or this one can try.” According to the 211st article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, Ilya threatens from 8 to 12 years. If the article is changed, then it will “get off” with a fine of 50 thousand rubles. We can assume that this is a “good scenario”. But in this case, Ilya will not be able to continue his research in Russia, since criminal criminal criminal record will not allow working in the research institutes of Russia (Institutes of Moscow State University, RAS and Rosatom). A significant part of the world is close to the scientist. But investigators have his own world, according to the rules of which Ilya must be condemned. “I will plant you, and you will not even understand what,” the investigator summarizes.
In small aircraft in the post -Soviet period, a paradoxical situation is observed: a miraculously preserved cultural capital and a material base abandoned. On the one hand, enthusiasm remained about the “brave pilots”, but the air clubs, circles and competitions should survive on their own. On the other hand, there are no financing airfields in the right volume, which have a lot of obsolete equipment at the disposal. Everything that does not bring direct commercial benefit is unnecessary, abandoned. The displaced from the center is found on the periphery. There, in the gray zone, there are aircraft made on the knee (from home-made or decommissioned details), not registered aircraft (because for the Yak-52, it is impossible to get registration in modern legal realities) and, in fact, illegally sold state property planes. So, during an emergency check of airfields (arranged after a flared scandal in the Ilya case), serious violations were identified [6]. (The representative of DOSAAF who wished to remain an unknown told me that at least 150 aircraft were missing around the country.) In this context, the director of the airfield about the theft was a logical move. He, like investigators, has his own world.
Now Ilya continues to work in the NIIKLOL project: the scientific equipment created with the participation of Ilya is now sending data for analysis from the satellite. Together with her students, Ilya creates a mathematical model, which will allow you to take into account hardware effects and more correctly interpret the data. “The satellite flies regardless of whether I am under investigation or not,” says the scientist.
It remains only to hope for the transfer of a case from Yekaterinburg to Moscow to unbiased investigators.
