The Judge of the Petrozavodsk City Court Olga Ilyicheva recognized the video of the speech of the deputy of the Council of the city of Suoyarvi Vladimir Kovarkin at a rally for the resignation of the head of Karelia Alexander Khudilinen with extremist material and prohibited the distribution of this video in Russia. It is reported by the "provincial Daily".
The decision was made on the proposal of the prosecutor of Petrozavodsk Elena Askerova. In addition to Kamarkin, the regional department of the Ministry of Justice and Roskomnadzor acted as interested parties in the case. The hearings took two meetings - October 30 and November 6. On the recommendation of his lawyer Natalia Kudrina, Nadarkkin himself did not participate in them.
“The decision will necessarily be appealed in the Supreme Court (Karelia. - Ed.), The deputy assured.“ Such a court decision can be reflected not so much on me as on any Internet resource, which posted a record of my speech. ”
Meanwhile, with YouTube, the recording of the performance of Kovarkin at the rally as of 15:20 Moscow time was already deleted .
The rally for the resignation of Khudilinen was held in Petrozavodsk on May 20. The agreed action has gathered over 2 thousand people. In less than a two-minute speech, Nakavarkin described a difficult socio-economic situation in Suoyarvi and sharply criticized the governor. He concluded his speech in the following words: “So, probably, if we are not heard by the Russian Federation, we will hold a referendum, I think. We don’t need Karelia of Russia - let's disconnect! It will be the most true!”
A month later, for this speech, the FSB started a business against the 58-year-old deputy under part 1 of article 280.1 of the Criminal Code (public calls for separatism), which provides for the four years of the colony. According to the indictment, the expert found that in the final phrases of Kamavarkin’s speech, there are “an incentive statement, calling for the disconnection of the Republic of Karelia from the Russian Federation, expressed in a non -cateic form of proposal.”
Nakavarkin himself regarded his criminal prosecution as revenge by the authorities. The deputy explained that, protecting the rights of his voters, he regularly denounced city and regional officials in non -fulfillment of duties. The lawyer Kudrin also explained the initiation of the case.
On August 31, on the day the case was transferred to the court, Nakarkin was announced the dismissal from Karelenergo, where he worked as an electron-sized driver. Previously, the leadership offered the deputy to quit of his own free will, although it officially refuted it. As a result, Nakavarkin was fired under the pretext that he did not pass the obligatory annual medical examination and did not receive admission to work at altitude.
The trial of Nakarkin began on October 26 . Judge Eduard Novoselov leads the process; The interests of the deputy are, along with Kudrina, lawyer Dmitry Dinze.
After the prosecutor of the indictment, Zavarkin announced in response to Novoselov’s question, which he did not plead guilty. The deputy did not deny that he uttered the phrases, but categorically did not agree with the interpretation of their calls to the separation of Karelia.
Further, during the hearings, the interrogation of witnesses was planned, but they did not appear in court. The next meeting in the case will be held on November 9; Start at 10:00.
