The Other Russia activists Olga Shalina and Darya Isayeva were detained on November 12 in the building of the Moscow Office of the Federal Migration Service. The Other Russia stated that the activists posted and handed out leaflets to officials against the deportation of Ukrainian citizens from Russia - "opponents of the Kiev junta" and with a demand to simplify the procedure for obtaining citizenship for "native speakers of the Russian language and culture", as well as to issue Russian passports to residents of the self-proclaimed republics in the east of Ukraine.
The detainees were taken to the Yakimanka OVD and after some time were released without drawing up protocols.
