An employee of the Anti-Corruption Foundation, a member of the Progress Party, Leonid Volkov, accused in the Microphone Case, was detained on November 12 in the Leningrad Region. As Volkov said on Twitter, he was taken to the 89th police department in the Vyborgsky district (the village of Roshchino) and was soon released without any explanation.
“The police were ‘asked’ to bring me here and take explanations on how I do not violate the subscription. They cannot say who and why asked them, ” he wrote .
Volkov is on his own recognizance, but he received permission from the judge in advance to travel to the Leningrad Region.
