Volonteermatch - International Platform for Volunteers

Volonteermatch connects non -profit organizations and people who are ready to help. The platform develops volunteer communities in different countries of the world and makes it possible to participate not only in local, but also in international projects.

Volunteermatch was launched on April 20, 1998. The site offers various services to support volunteer projects of public organizations and civilian activists, providing them with services and corporate tools in profile. Companies, state and local government organizations also resort to the service of the project.

In addition to web presentation, from March 15, 2010, the project began to offer applications for mobile platforms, and since June 2011-a free software interface (API) for non-profit use for building volunteer networks.

Most services for individuals and organizations are provided free of charge, however, for large non -profit organizations and companies, paid packages are provided.

The project initially strove for a financially stable business model, but could not achieve this, covering the budget deficit due to donations and grants.

For Russian non-profit projects, there is a platform IT-volunteer -an online platform for the exchange of knowledge and skills in the field of information technology.
