Vitishko’s release is postponed due to the protest of the prosecutor's office

The prosecutor's office sent an appeal submission to the Tambov regional court in connection with the decision to replace the ecologist-Polozeku Evgeny Vitishko of a terrible part of the term restriction of freedom. This was reported by an open news agency with reference to Sergey Loktev, an activist's lawyer. Thus, the release of Vitishko, which was expected on the morning of November 21, is postponed for a while.

Loktev noted that the prosecutor’s office does not object on the merits of the decision in his view, but only declares the technical defect in the resolution: the paper does not specify in which the Vitishko criminal executive inspection should register after the release.

"We associate an unexpected turn in this case with the announced performance of Vitishko at the All -Russian Civil Forum, which will be held in Moscow on November 21-22," the lawyer said.

The planned participation of Vitishko in the forum earlier on Friday was announced by an ecological shift in the North Caucasus. It was claimed that after the exit from the KP-2 in the village of Sadovy, Kirsovsky district of the Tambov region, the activist, before going home in Tuapse, will visit Moscow and will give a joint press conference with lawyer Loktev and a member of the Presidential Council for Human Rights Andrei Babushkin on November 22.

The decision on the liberation of Vitishko from the colony was issued on November 10 by the judge of the Kirsanovsky district court of the Tambov region Sergey Deev. If the prosecutor’s office had not filed, on Saturday, this decision would have entered into force.

Vitishko submitted a similar application, as well as a petition for parole, as well as this year, however, the Kirsanovsky district court rejected. A repeated consideration of the application for Ur Vitishko was originally planned on November 16, but the judge of the Kirsanovsky district court Nadezhda Korolev at the petitions submitted to the Politsek and Loktev himself transferred the hearing to December 3. At the same time, the lawyer noted that if the activist is released by decision of November 10, the production of UPO will most likely be discontinued.
