On the night of November 22, Crimea was left without light due to the fact that unknown people blew up the supports of power lines in the Kherson region of Ukraine. The power supply will be restored, at best, after a few days, so that while Crimea gets used to new conditions - fan shutdown of energy and water, the absence of trolleybuses and non -working state institutions. Crimea is highly dependent on Ukrainian electricity. Ukraine accounts for about 70% of the electricity consumption of the peninsula. Demolation of the power lines actually completely de -energized Crimea - both large cities and villages. By November 22, the Crimean authorities included all reserve energy sources, but they are still not enough.

LEP in the Kherson region someone blew up. Who is not officially reported. This is not the first attempt to undermine. The last time the power lines tried to blow up on November 20 - then two of the four supports were disabled. Supporters of the food and energy blockade of Crimea are on duty near the power lines. These activists prevent the repairmen from getting to the exploded supports - in this way they attract attention to their requirements (economic blockade of the peninsula). The National Guard appeared near the scene of the explosion on November 21 to gain access to supports damaged before.

Crimea copes with energy unit with great difficulty. According to the Ministry of Energy of Russia in the middle of November 22, almost three quarters of the Crimeans remained without light. In large cities, fan shutdings are held, trolleybuses do not work. On November 23, the head of Crimea Sergey Aksenov announced a day off - schools, kindergartens, and government institutions will not work. The same Aksenov called on Crimeans not to turn on the heaters. In Crimea, it is still relatively warm- +15-18 degrees, and this helps to cope with the blockade, otherwise the electricity consumption would be more.

Demolation of the power transmission lines is regarded in Crimea as a terrorist attack. This word was used by the head of Crimea Sergey Aksenov. The prosecutor of Crimea Natalya Poklonskaya spoke of the "sabotage" and demanded to initiate a corresponding criminal case. In turn, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine has already opened its criminal case - under the article “Intentional damage to electric power facilities”. The maximum punishment on it is 10 years in prison.

When the supply of electricity is restored, it is unknown. The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine stated that one of the lines can be fixed per day - subject to unhindered access of repairmen. Then, Ukrenergo said that the full restoration of supports would take three to four days, but the repairmen have not yet been allowed to start work. The emergency regime in Crimea is still valid until November 24, but it can be extended.
