More than 50 participants in the truckers' protest were fined in St. Petersburg

In St. Petersburg, 52 drivers were fined for taking part in a protest action against the introduction of per-kilometer fares for truckers on federal highways on November 19. This was reported on November 23 by Fontanka without specifying a source.

According to the publication, the protesters were fined for violating traffic rules, mainly for unreadable license plates, violation of marking requirements and road signs, violation of the rules for using lighting devices.

The action of cargo carriers "Snail" was held on November 19 on Moskovskoye Highway on the section from the ring road to Dunaisky Prospekt. A column of 190 trucks and 60 cars, participating in the action, moved along the highway at a speed of 10 kilometers per hour with an interval of one kilometer.
