Yevgeny Vitishko went on a hunger strike

Evgeny Vitishko went on a hunger strike in protest against the actions of the Tambov prosecutor's office to supervise compliance with laws in correctional institutions. According to Ecowatch for the North Caucasus, Vitishko began his hunger strike on November 23. On November 20, the prosecutor's office sent a submission to the Tambov Regional Court asking about the need to change the decision to commute Vitishko's sentence.

The prosecutor's office asked the regional court to change this decision and ban Vitishko from leaving the area for one year and three months.
