The Moscow Court arrested the heads of the German construction company

The Tver District Court of Moscow in absentia arrested the top managers of the large German construction company Glaten Ingenieurtechnik GmbH Rainhard Beber and Lutz Heinzl. They are suspected of large theft during the construction of a blood plant in Kirov. This was reported by the newspaper "Kommersant".

Beber and Hinzl are accused of attempted fraud on an especially large scale. The company signed an agreement with Rosplasm on the construction of the plant, to which 6.9 billion rubles were allocated from the federal budget. However, in 2009, when equipment was already brought into the corps, Rosplasma, according to the German side, announced the need to build a third production line.

At the same time, all the money allocated from the budget by this time was spent by partners from Germany on building buildings and the purchase of equipment. Then the German side announced the need for additional financing.

Later, experts estimated the final cost of the project at 11 billion rubles. A foreign company agreed to complete the construction for three billion rubles, but the approval in Russian structures was delayed. Then the Rosplazm and the founder of Inter Bau M, who was engaged in the construction of the corps, Alexei Kharchenko filed a lawsuit against the damage of 3.5 billion rubles.

The object, which was supposed to meet the needs of the whole country in blood substitutes, remained incomplete. According to investigators, the leaders of Glatt Ingenieurtekhnik GmbH disappeared in Germany, dodging testimony in the case. They are put on the international wanted list.
