Not a single warning addressed to the Russian Su-24 bomber was recorded on November 24. This was reported by Interfax with reference to the statement of the Commander -in -Chief of the Russian Academy of Sciences of the Russian Federation, Viktor Bondarev.

“The means of objective control of the Khmeimim airfield and the host’s aircraft did not record a single request from the crew of the Turkish aircraft to our pilots at the previously agreed frequency,” Bondarev said.

He also emphasized that the Su-24 was at least five kilometers from the territory of Turkey when performing a combat mission, he also stated that the Turkish fighter attacking the Su-24 flew into the airspace of Syria.

“In accordance with the materials of the objective control of the air defense systems, the Turkish plane was in the airspace of Syria for 40 seconds and went deep into its territory by 2 km, and the Russian bomber did not violate the state border of Turkey,” Bondarev said.

The bombing Su-24 was shot down on November 24. As a result of the incident, the pilot died (he was shot from the ground after catapulting), the navigator was saved by Russian special forces.

On November 25, an audio recording was published in the media, which stated, the pilot of the Turkish fighter demanded that the Russian pilot change the course. The official Ankara did not confirm her authenticity; the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation called her "familiar fake."
